DEACONS NEEDED FOR
MINISTRY TO PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILLNESS
The Archdiocesan Commission
on Mental Illness and the program Faith and Fellowship are looking for
Deacons to help with chaplaincy, outreach, and advocacy for people with
mental illness and their families. On Saturday morning May the 10th we
will have training for this ministry by Craig Rennebohm, a nationally
known speaker who has an active street and church ministry to people with
mental illness in Seattle, Washington.
Deacons and wives who are
interested in this ministry are invited to join us for training even if it
is only for ministry in your own parish. For more information contact
Deacon Tom Lambert at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Parish 773-525-0453 x21 or
email me at olmcinfo2@aol.com
