Stop Chaplains need your help.
There are eight million truckers on the road
every day just begging for someone to minister to their needs.
This is not rocket science. It is only a ministry of presence.
We listen and minister to their human needs. In turn we are
ministered to by them.
The acceptance by the truckers is truly amazing.
They recognize that they really like the fact that we take the time to
be there for them and listen to their needs. It is a lonely
business, driving a truck, so to find someone that will take the time to
listen to their needs and point them to resources at home, is almost
unbelievable to them.
We need to expand into other truck stops and have
enough chaplains to cover every night of the week.
