The following was written by Linda Both:
Mel has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, cancer of the plasma cells
in the bone marrow.
He is undergoing chemo and very shortly will have a stem cell
transplant.
After the transplant, he will be in the hospital for at least two weeks
and
then home for about two months.
I'm sure he would love hearing from you and of course, we need your
prayers.

yesterday
with very high blood sugars...and a whole lot of other problems.

Please pray for Marie O’Brien, Deacon Tom O’Brien’s wife.
I just received a phone call from Tom informing me that Marie’s cancer is
now terminal
and there is nothing more that can be done. Keep both Marie and Tom in
your prayers
as they go through this very difficult time.
