DEACONS OUTREACH FOR DISABILITY
-New Network Forming
All deacons and wives are cordially invited to join a newly forming network
focused on serving the needs of disabled and families. A new web site has been
set up as a pilot to serve Vicariate 1, but applies to all parishes-- http://dopm.org/
Please visit the site. We hope to produce a quarterly newsletter and have great
plans for expansion. The main reason for forming the network is to share
resources, ideas and Spirit. Every parish should have an advocate and a team to
embrace and serve the special needs of parishoners.
Are you currently reaching out to persons with disabilities?
Do you have awareness? Skills?
Do you feel called to know about how to minister to/with persons with
disabilities?
Please join the network if you are already and expert or need to develop in
this area? No obligation-just connection!
