The Office of the Diaconate of the Archdiocese of Chicago serves deacons after ordination and their wives.  The vicar and the associate directors provide pastoral care for the men and women of the Diaconate Community by overseeing assignments, ongoing formation, evaluations, crisis intervention and retreats.
